Baiting used in Hamlet

A few examples of baiting used in Hamlet are:
1.) when Polonius sends Reynaldo to France to see what Laertes is doing there and inquire about Laertes' personal life through befriending Laertes' friends and seeing what the real deal is & to catch Laertes' if he was disobeying his father or doing stupid things.
2.) when Claudius & Gertrude uses Ophelia to dig into Hamlet's madness. They also use Rosencrantz and Guildenstern in attempt to discover what the deal is with Hamlet going crazy.
3.) when Hamlet uses the play "The Mousetrap" to lure the king into saying that he killed the king/prove that Claudius killed his father. Hamlet asks Horatio to carefully watch Claudius and catch him showing any signs of guilt.

Baiting is significant in this story because it just makes the plot even more intense and interesting and as we have seen, it is used a lot in Hamlet.
